Police University and Financial Supervisory Commission sign a memorandum of understanding to jointly combat emerging cryptocurrency crimes

In view of the increasing prevalence of emerging crimes such as fraud, illegal transactions and money laundering using virtual assets, the Central Police University and the Financial Supervisory Commission signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOU) today to work together to strengthen the monitoring and prevention mechanism of cryptocurrency-related crimes, so as to enhance the country's ability to combat fraud and strengthen financial security governance. The Ministry of the Interior stated that in 2014, with the support of the Ministry of the Interior, the Central Police University implemented the "Teaching Capacity Enhancement Plan in Response to New Types of Crime" and established the "Cryptocurrency AI Crime Money Flow Tracking and Monitoring Analysis System" laboratory, as a virtual asset illegal type analysis research, currency flow analysis teaching and support for police agencies to handle cases, to strengthen the practical application of combating emerging crimes.
